Welcome to the English Brothers web site - one of the most established companies in East Anglia. Our roots date back to 1847 when the company imported timber to the UK via the River Nene in the historic town of Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, and today we are based just outside the town.
Agriculture has always played a large part in East Anglia, and naturally the company has worked closely with farmers over the years manufacturing fencing and gates as well as silos and, later, farm buildings. In fact, it was our experience in the design and manufacture of farm buildings that led to the development of our timber frame homes division in the 1960's. Since then, we have designed and manufactured many unique homes, all of which have been 100% bespoke.
We don't see why you should have to choose your new home from a book when you can just as easily have it designed exactly the way you want. Sure, look around for inspiration but why compromise?
